The Lafayette County Children's Services Fund (LCCSF) Board was appointed by the County Commission and entrusted to oversee this fund. Members of the Board are volunteers from around the county with a passion for helping children.

A community where all children of 19 years of age or less and their families of Lafayette County can reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

HOW LCCSF WAS ESTABLISHED

On April 2nd, 2024, the citizens of Lafayette County passed a one-quarter of a cent sales tax measure, which created a Children's Services Fund for children and youth nineteen years of age or less in Lafayette County. The fund is created pursuant to RSMo ss67.1775 and RSMo ss210.861. The funds are awarded to local agencies that provide services and fulfill unmet needs of qualifying children in Lafayette County, Missouri. Our mission is to provide quality, comprehensive training and services to protect the well-being and safety of children and youth 19 years of age or less and to strengthen families in Lafayette County.

Appointment and Qualifications. The County Commission shall appoint all Board members. The LCCSF shall consist of nine (9) appointed members. All appointees and board members must be registered voters and residents of Lafayette County, Missouri for a period of no less than one (1) year. All board members shall be appointed to serve for a term of three years.  Board members may be reappointed.
